Biography

This violin-maker, son of Charles Besseling, was born in Amsterdam in 1951. He studied viola in Amsterdam with Louis Metz and violin-making in the workshops of his father and P.G. Smidt. Settled in Amsterdam as a violin-maker in 1979. His models are inspired by the old Dutch and Italian instruments.
