Biography

Vincent Loerakker was born in Haarlem in 1949. Learned the art of violin-making in the workshop of his father, Bernardus Nicolaas Loerakker. After his death in 1968, Vincent continued the shop thogether with his mother. He uses mainly his father's and A. Stradivari's models for his instruments. His varnish is either based on alcohol or essential oils.
